T-Style Doors - General Information

Track
  • The height of the vertical track and angle assembly is cut 6.50" greater than the wood height of the door.
  • The vertical roller track on standard doors is 6.50" less than the wood height of the door.
  • The 6" radius horizontal track is standard on all complete doors. The 52 degree horizontal track is used with in-header mounted operators. Please specify on your order if you need the 52 degree track.
  • 107" long horizontal track is used on doors up to 96" high.
  • 120" long horizontal track is used on doors over 96" high, unless specifically requested by the customer.
Operators and Components
  • Operator shaft lengths are stocked in 89.50" and 96.00" lengths. On complete doors the shaft is cut the same length as the width of the door.
  • The standard operator spring is 60.00" long. The 48.00" spring is used when the height of the door is less than 78.00". The 36.00" spring is used when the height of the door is less than 50.00".
  • Cables used on all standard doors is a 1/8" 7 x 19 stainless steel. The length of the cable is determined by the height of the door. The cable length must be no less than 10.00" more than the door height. ie: a 100" high door plus 10.00" = 110.00" cable length required.
  • We use large size cable drums which will hold up to 130.00" of cable.
Paint
  • All doors and panels come painted with a gray primer as standard.
  • High gloss white top coat is available upon request at an additional cost. Door and panel top coat finishes are applied to the outside only.
